Parenting In the 21st Century gives tools to parents to improve parenting skills. Parenting and co-parenting are some of the biggest challenges we face as parents. Lack of good parenting skills is a major factor in domestic violence, child and spousal abuse, marital conflicts, and family fights.
This course is designed for every family type. Even the most competent parents can benefit from a little extra help. The skills learned here can successfully be applied in all relationships.
Additionally, we provide Positive Indian Parenting where we teach practical and culturally specific parenting for Native American parents, but all families could benefit from the lessons. The goal is to help parents explore the values and attitudes expressed in traditional Indigenous child-rearing practices and apply those in modern parenting.
